What does my membership fund?

100% of your memberships goes to the ISLA mission.

Operations

This allows ISLA to pay for our monthly bills: this includes the ISLA website, bookkeeping, our mailbox, etc.
Awareness

Water safety is all about getting the word out! This allows us to recruit project volunteers and covers the cost of your membership kit.
Equipment

This covers the cost, shipping, and maintenance of training supplies: AEDs, CPR mannequins, first aid kits, buoys, etc.
New Initiatives

This allows our volunteer admin staff to plan and launch new water safety initiatives to grow the ISLA movement.
Scholarships

This allows us to include lifeguards from developing countries on other projects so that they can gain additional lifesaving knowledge.
Miscellaneous

This covers small things like a group meals, etc. that our admin teams get to share together as a token of thanks with our country hosts around the globe.
