ISLA Competes for the 2012 Chase Bank Grant
In the coming weeks, ISLA will be competing with other non-profits all over the United States and world in order to win a piece of Chase Bank’s 5 Million Dollars in Grant money. The voting, which will take place both at the website: chasegiving.com and Facebook, will occur September 6th through 19th. Votes will be tallied at the end of the voting period and Chase will announce the 196 charities that will win between $10,000 and $250,000 based on the amount of votes they received.

This week and next week, ISLA is focusing its resources on getting the word out there in order to prepare for the contest. If you are interested in assisting ISLA with winning this contest, please support us by sharing the ISLA facebook page to all of your friends and family. We want to get as many new followers as possible over this next week and are dependent on the assistance of our so many followers and fans.

If you are interested in directly participating in this fundraiser to help fund your next ISLA trip then send us an email at info@islasurf.org by August 31st. This fundraiser is open to any past, present and potential future ISLA volunteers, with the opportunity of funding your entire trip!
